Tuñón y Mansilla, COAM Award 2016 for the Museum of Royal Collections

The Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM), has unanimously awarded the first prize COAM 2016 to the architects Tuñón y Mansilla for their “excellent implantation on the site at an urban level, managing a successful and appropriate scale and for the integration of the building into the existing”.

This is excellent news. The soul of Granilouro is present by the ton in this work and never better said, because the tons of granite in this project are really proportional to the monumentality of it.
