Gran Vía de Madrid – Spain

Four months ahead of schedule, Granilouro completed the work on Madrid’s Gran Vía, which was ready for the 2018-19 Christmas season.
The pavements have been widened with Gris Louro and Negro Santiago granite, between 2.6 and 3.4 metres, depending on the section, gaining some 6,800m² of pedestrian space with interspersed planters, paved accesses for garages and custom-made curves that connect with the cross streets.
In these 30 years of our trajectory, we have paved Gran Vía twice. Madrid and its Gran Vía are part of our history.
We have also been in charge of part of the street furniture: of the 143 benches installed, 110 are made of granite, manufactured and installed by Granilouro.
