The granite industry has taken a bold step into the future with an exciting breakthrough that challenges the restrictions on the sizing of its products. Thanks to the crucial support of the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), we have managed to overcome the conventional sizes of granite pieces and open up new possibilities in the construction and urban design sector.
The construction sector has always used granite because of its great durability and timeless beauty. However, there have always been construction restrictions with granite due to the dimensional limitations caused by the standards of the blocks marketed, which typically have the following dimensions: 300x200x150 centimetres. These dimensions make it difficult to create structures with large spans, so a challenge has arisen that required the appearance of an innovative solution.
The challenge of obtaining larger spans built in granite
The challenge of obtaining pieces with greater technical performance inspired our team of experts to look for an innovative solution and break the barriers imposed by conventional dimensions. The constructive solution developed makes it possible to create product models superior to those normally used. This new constructive solution will lead to a re-evaluation of the traditional methods of production of granite pieces.
Our company has a firm commitment to innovation and development, which has made it possible to provide a solution to the challenge posed. The project has received financial support from the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) allowing us to concentrate on the research and development of the revolutionary breakthrough we are experiencing in the granite industry.
The Revolutionary Breakthrough: Larger Granite Pieces
We are proud to announce that we have successfully developed a new technical solution that allows us to produce granite pieces with larger constructive performance. The newly developed products can reach spans of more than 10 metres.
This solution not only expands the design and construction possibilities in the granite industry, but also has a positive impact on our communities by providing more functional and attractive street furniture options.
The Future of Granite Innovation
This breakthrough in granite pieces marks a significant milestone in the industry. We are committed to continuing to innovate and collaborate with organisations like GAIN to develop solutions that transform our sector and improve the quality of life in our communities.
